James Campbell, son of Archibald Campbell Kilberry, left an archive of around 170 piobaireachd recorded on the goose to demonstrate the style of playing given to his father and which forms the basis of the Piobaireachd Society Collection and the Kilberry book.   James was a leading member of the Piobaireachd Society for many years.  He was not a competing piper.   Here is an interview he gave to Dr John MacAskill.  He also gave papers on several occasions to the Piobaireachd Society conference.

These recordings will be published for Piobaireachd Society members over the coming months.  The first to be available are The Kings Taxes  Lament for Donald of Laggan  Lament for Viscount Dundee and the Battle of Waternish.

Thanks to Malcolm Macrae for making the recordings available.
