This tune only appears in the Campbell Canntaireachd. The PS editors consider that there is no difficulty translating the Urlar and Thumb variation which they find tuneful and attractive, but the later variations appear defective, and they have been amended. The original canntaireachd setting and the details of the changes are in the PS book 13 notes.
