Join The Piobaireachd Society

Society membership is open to all with an interest in ceòl mòr. By taking out a Recurring Subscription you are greatly reducing admin work for the Society’s volunteers and also obviate the need for bothersome reminders. Recurring Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time simply by emailing secretary@piobaireachd.co.uk.

Affiliate Membership is open to all piping societies, bands, music clubs, regimental associations and teaching institutions. All advantages of membership are then available to one office bearer who can use them for their group. In addition the group can use the Society logo on their website and link it to the PS site. Sign up using the Single Year Recurring option and state the name of your organisation.

The benefits of joining the Society are many:

• Access to an extensive library of recordings of great pipers past and present.
• Access to an extensive library of interesting articles about piobaireachd.
• Substantial discounts in our online shop.
• Subsidised lessons and access to our schools.
• Access to our online discussions and lessons free of charge.

More than anything members have the satisfaction of knowing that, for a modest fee, they are supporting a registered charity dedicated to preserving and promoting Scotland’s ancient classical pipe music. Subscriptions allow us to publish piobaireachd books, collect manuscripts, and to sponsor competitions, teaching workshops and recitals worldwide.
