Information

This is a composition of Malcolm MacPherson, the celebrated Calum Piobaire. The score in PS 14 is derived from a copy by G F Ross of a score written by Robert Meldrum. Ross says "composed 1887 and noted at Cat Lodge in 1889 by Robert Meldrum, late 93rd Highladners".

In the singlings of Suibhal, Taorluath and Crunluath the final bar of the last line is deficient of one beat compared with the reset of the tune. The low A immediately preceding the hiharin has been inserted.
