This wild and striking piece of music is found only in the Campbell Canntaireachd. The details are explained in the PS book 12 note.
The Piobaireachd Society produced different scores in the original book 12 in 1970, and the reprint in 2004. Both versions are below. Either is acceptable for the competitions. As with any Campbell Canntaireachd tune timing and cadence placement are editorial, and players are free to choose differently.
A score of the ground including CC vocables and line structure, is below. This has features of both settings .
As well as timing differences, several Ds in the 2004 ground have a cadence, whereas they are either plain or have a G gracenote in the 1970 version. In V1 dithis the 1970 version follows Campbell with plain EB or FB turns in places. It is acceptable to play these if playing the 2004 version (pencilled on score below), including at the end of line 3, which is not present in Campbell.
In T and C singlings passing low Gs may be played with or without an E gracenote.
